Vikas Dhole is SVP of Modeling & Optimization at Aspen Technology. Most recently, Vikas served as GM, Sustainability Solutions, responsible for AspenTech’s sustainability solution strategy, as well as co-innovation with customers and partners to address their unique challenges.

Prior to joining AspenTech, Vikas was technology director at Linnhoff March Limited, UK (now part of KBC limited) and lecturer at the Department of Process Integration at University of Manchester, UK. Throughout his career Vikas has championed innovative technology and software solutions in the areas of conceptual design, energy management, process and asset optimization for design and operations. He has authored several publications on these industry topics.

Vikas has a B.Tech. in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, India, and a Ph.D. in process integration from the University of Manchester, UK.
